California Ballet Conservatory is committed to providing exceptional dance and classical ballet education to young and adult dancers. Training with CBC will prepare young committed dancers to achieve their dance dreams. Students will not only gain a vast knowledge of ballet theory and technique, they will also learn about music, ballet history, and classical terminology. Our goal is to give students a life-long appreciation and respect for the arts. At CBC students will develop the self-​ discipline, confidence, and experience necessary to excel as professional artists. Our class sizes are kept intentionally small to facilitate one-on-one attention with our instructors.

Our curriculum incorporates the best elements of the Vaganova method and Balanchine stylings to prepare students for all styles of choreography. We teach respected ballet principles with an understanding of kinesiology and injury prevention. We believe that performance is an essential element of every dancer’s education. The experience of performing both corps and soloist roles is essential for those who aspire to professional dance careers. Students who participate in the pre-professional program will have opportunities to perform and compete nationally.

CBC students receive acceptances and scholarship offers from prestigious Ballet Summer Intensive training programs throughout the nation.
